Roy is an award-winning artist working mainly in charcoal. He specialises in drawing original, highly-detailed yet vital images of natural forms and cityscapes. These two favoured, contrasting subjects compel him to search out and define the underlying rhythms that pulse beneath the mass of accumulated detail.

“There is something extraordinary about the relationship between us and trees, the need to be close to and connect with nature, walking through forests renewing our spirits with their beauty and the constantly changing seasons.”

“Thank you for your beautiful drawing of Oak branches - I can meditate in the comfort of my home on the details. It was lovely talking to you, especially surrounded by your artwork.”

— Terry Gilliam (Monty Python/Film director)
